Widely acknowledged as being one of Ireland's most skilful and durable fighters, he moved to Las Vegas almost 30 years ago and has been there ever since, first becoming a world champ in the pro ranks before going on to forge a successful career as a boxing trainer.
He joins me to talk about boxing, identity and what it takes to be the best in the world.
